Before starting, carefully measure your garden area to determine the required grass size.

Use a spade or turf cutter to remove existing natural turf. A specific excavation depth of 40mm - 75mm is recommended. Ensure the area is free of large stones, bricks, or tree roots. Also, avoid underground cables and water pipes.

You can use pressure-treated timber or specialized artificial grass edging strips.

Fixing method: Drive the edging material into the soil, ensuring its height is not above the final grass level to allow for proper water drainage.

Lay a layer of Type 1 Limestone/Aggregate, approximately 50-75mm thick. Use a compacting plate to thoroughly compact the stone layer.

Spread a layer of Sharp Sand or Granite Dust on top, about 15-20mm thick. Use a straight edge or timber board to screed the sand level for a smooth surface.

Lay the weed membrane over the compacted base. Secure the perimeter with galvanized pins, ensuring an overlap of at least 300mm, and trim any excess from the edges.

Unroll: Spread the artificial grass over the prepared area. Ensure the Pile Direction faces your house or main viewpoint for the most natural color and fullness.

It is recommended to let the grass settle for 2-3 hours to remove packaging creases and acclimatize to the temperature.

If your area requires multiple rolls, use specialized Jointing Tape and Adhesive to connect them. Ensure pile direction is consistent and seams are tight.

Finally, use a sharp Stanley Knife to neatly trim excess grass along the edging system. Change blades frequently for a clean cut.
